Cairo Excursion from Sharm el sheikh two Days by Plane
The 2 Day trip to Cairo is has the same day plan as the 1 day trip for the first day, but allows you to see the city of Cairo in more detail on the second day.
Day 1
Seeing Cairo is a must for anyone visiting Egypt. Our trip to Cairo by Plane offers more time looking around the amazing sights of Cairo and less time traveling.
We pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El sheikh by air-conditioned bus in the early morning and take you to Sharm airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will be accompanied by your Egyptology tour guide.
Together you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror for the ancient Pharaohs!, the tour also includes a visit to the valley temple facing the great sphinx.
Then you will break for some lunch before going to visit the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities.
Built in new-classical style, designed by the French architect Marcel Burgeon the museum exceed 10 masterpieces ranges from Re-dynastic era, Paranoiac era to the Grecian-roman period in Egypt and includes the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, Paranoiac Gods and Goddess.
You may also visit the mummy’s room at the Egyptian Museum for a background about the Egyptian civilization and the mummification art in ancient Egypt.
After you have seen the pyramids, sphinx and other amazing sights that Cairo has to offer, you will then be given some time for shopping in Cairo.
Then you will be transferred to hotel in Cairo
Day 2
On the second day, at about 09:00am you will visit the citadel of Saladin, an amazing fortress built by King Saladin in 1170AD to protect the old city of Cairo.
Then lunch, followed by an unforgettable walk through the sounds, sights and smells of the Khan El Khalili Street. The bazaar district is one of Cairo’s main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike, here you’ll find restaurants, coffee houses, famous mosques, universities, and plenty of shops!
Khan EL Khalili Bazaar has been described as one of the most interesting bazaars, not only in Egypt, but also in the whole Middle East.
After your second day in Cairo we begin our return journey to back to Sharm.
