* It opened in 1921.

* It opened in 1937.

* There are 800 schools.

8- Where will you go after you leave school?

* I will go to university.

* I will study English / Science / Maths……..

    Where can you buy a scarf?
    * I can buy a scarf at the women’s market.
    2- Where can you buy lettuce?
    * I can buy lettuce at the fruit and vegetables market.
    3- Where can you buy gold?
    * I can buy gold at the gold market.
    4-Where can you buy fish?
    * I can buy fish at the fish market.
    5- Do you need anything?
    * No, I don’t need anything.
    * Yes, I need a scarf / a bag………….
    6- Shall we go to the souq?
    * Yes, that’s a good idea.
    7- Can we go to the beach?
    * Yes, we can.
    8- How about this scarf / necklace………….?
    * It’s lovely

    Unit ( 3 ) Dickson House

    What’s Dickson House?
    * It’s an old house in old Kuwait.

    2- Where’s Dickson House?
    * It’s next to the sea.

    3- When was it built?

    * It was built in 1870.

    4- What did people eat in the past?
    * They ate fish.

    5- Where did people sleep on hot nights?

    * They slept on the roof.

    6-What did people have?
    * They had paraffin lamp.
    7- Where is / are the hall/ the stairs?
    * It’s /they’re inside/at the front of/ behind the (study
    )

    * I’m reading / writing / swimming……….

    * I’d like to sleep on the roof.

    1- What’s the weather like in a snowstorm?
    * It’s cold and snowy.
    2- What’s the weather like in Canada in winter?
    * It’s cold and snowy.

    * It’s cold/hot/sunny/warm/windy/rainy.
    4-Does it snow in Kuwait? Why?
    * It doesn’t snow in Kuwait because it’s usually hot and sunny.
    5- How long is the Canadian winter?
    *It’s six months long.
    6- What sports can you play in Canada in winter?
    * I can go skiing and ice-skating.
    7- Is a snowstorm dangerous? Why?
    * Yes, it is, because the roads are icy
    8- What should you do in a snowstorm?
    * I should stop the car.
    * I should stay in the car and wait for help.
    * I should put on a hat/a coat/a jacket/gloves….
    * I should drink hot coffee.

    * I shouldn’t get out of the car.

    * They should have warm things.

    1- What’s the weather like in a dust storm?
    * It’s windy and dusty.
    2- Where do dust storms happen?
    * They happen in hot countries and deserts.
    3- Is a dust storm dangerous? Why?
    * Yes it is, because you can’t see anything. / because you might get dust in you eyes , mouth and nose.
    4- What might happen in a dust storm?
    * You might get dust in you eyes, mouth and nose.
    5- How can you keep safe in a dust storm?
    * I go home / inside quickly.
    * I put a scarf or a cloth on my nose and mouth.
    6- What should you do in a dust storm when driving?
    * I should stop the car.
    * I should stay in the car.
    * I should put on the car brake.
    * I should turn on the car lights.
    * I should move the car off the road.
